We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 59, Russell Matthew Burleson of Pembroke, Virginia, born in Radford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Burleson and Mary McPeak Burleson; and his siblings, Gladys Burleson, Laura "Cissy" Moore, Harley Burleson, Billy Burleson and Roger Burleson.

He is survived by : his children, Jared Linkous (Emily), Skyler Holbrook (Matt) and Katie Bullion; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Holbrook and Waylon Holbrook; his close friend Karen Bullion; and his siblings, David Burleson (Donna) and Sonia Hodge (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

While flowers are appreciated, the family requests that contributions be made to Kendall Funeral Home to assist in offsetting the cost of funeral expenses.
