With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anniebelle Thomas (Petersburg, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Crenshaw and Willie Satterwhite; her husband Landie R. Thomas, Sr.; her children, Sharon Thomas-Stephenson and Darryl Thomas; and her brother Jerry Lee Crenshaw.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Crenshaw (Carrie) of Petersburg, Robert Crenshaw (Patricia) of Petersburg, Virginia and Elizabeth Crenshaw of Petersburg, Virginia; her sons, Landie R. Thomas, Jr. (Paulette) of Fort Washington, Maryland, Jeremiah Thomas (April) of Chesterfield, Fabian Thomas of Petersburg, Virginia, Gregory Thomas (Khris) of Petersburg, Virginia and Brock Thomas (April) of Petersburg, Virginia; and her granddaughter Shajuan Walker of Dinwiddie, Virginia. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803-4220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Unity Baptist Church (330 S South St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Dinwiddie Memorial Park (7324 Church Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803).
