We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 98, Eleanor H. Brown (Petersburg, Virginia), born in Rich Square, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor H. Brown to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Hinton and Julia Hinton; and her husband James Westley Brown. She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, William "Weeboy" Hinton, William Blowe, Gerald Eure, Loretta Urquhart, Jerry Winfield, Elizabeth Murphy, Linda Brown and Jean Fields-Short; her great-niece Angela Cheilchani; her nephews, James Winfield (Laverne), Reginald "Baby-Ray" Winfield and Peter Murphy; her niece Easter Baptist Church; her friends, Pete Lowry and Preston Lowry; and also, Emir Cheilchani, J'quan Gray, Armani Cheilchani and Joseph Williams. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803-4220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Easter Baptist Church (13454 Jerusalem Plank Rd, Waverly, VA 23890). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the Easter Baptist Church Cemetery (13454 Jerusalem Plank Rd, Waverly, VA 23890).
