She was predeceased by : her parents, Mertie King and Josiah King; her husband Fred Lee Flowers; her son Andrew King; and her siblings, Rosa Johnson, Ida King, Annie Mae Jones, Tippie Jane Ricks, William King and Leroy King.

She is survived by : her granddaughters, Angelique Parham (Dwaine) of Prince George, Virginia and Kisha King of Georgia.
