He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue; his parents, Robert and Sarah; and his brothers, Leonard, Gilbert and William.
He is survived by: his sister Gladys Smallwood; his children, Kimberling Henshaw (Sonny), Elizabeth Swadley, Tracy (Valeria), Scott (Lea) and Stewart (Teresa); his grandchildren, Ben Henshaw, Bradford Longerbeam, Nathan, Mitchell Longerbeam, Edward and Sarah Swadley; and his great grandchildren, Laney, Lexi Henshaw, Zayden, Nia Swadley and Abrielle Swadley.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Cemetery (20421 Airmont Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135).
