We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2021, at the age of 81, James Richard Kittinger of Pilot, Virginia, born in Radford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Shirley Shelton and Jean Goff Kittinger; and his siblings, Jeanette Kittinger and Samuel Kittinger. He is survived by : his wife Coleen Mize Kittinger; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Faye Kittinger; his nephew David Mize; and his close friends, Charles Lutz, Earl (Buddy) and Shirley Sanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
