He was predeceased by: his parents, Cullis Shifflett and Susan Shifflett; his wife Joan M. Shifflett; and his son Roger Shifflett. He is survived by: his children, Charles Shifflett (Brenda) of Penn Laird, Wilbert Shifflett of Weyers Cave, Roy Shifflett (Cathy) of North Carolina, Marie Jones (late Billy) of Fla, Wanda Frank (Charles) of Dayton, Jean Taylor (Alvaro Olguin) of Harrisonburg and Carolyn Shank (Richard) of Pa; and his daughter-in-law Connie Shifflett of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by 60 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
