She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Simon and Orpha Eby (Burkhart); her husband Joseph "Joe" O. Rodes; her daughter Anna Lee Rodes; her daughter-in-law Waneta Rodes; and her siblings, Melvin, Earl, James Eby, Fannie Eby and Esther Coblentz.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Showalter (Isaac) of Fort Worth, Enos Rodes (Connie) of Syracuse, Ida Heatwole (Leon) of Port Republic, Roy Rodes (Julia) of New Paris, Titus Rodes of Syracuse, June Geiser (Mike) of Lewisburg, Owen Rodes (Julia) of Goshen, Sue Zimmerman (Glenn) of Wakarusa, Marie Bontrager (Rydell) of Goshen and Luke Rodes (Cinde) of Broadway, Virginia; her brothers, John, Menno and Mark Eby; and her brother-in-law Melvin Coblentz. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren.
