With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Ann Carter (Portsmouth, Virginia), who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Damon G. Grimes and Eloise W. Grimes; her husband Charles Albert Carter Jr.; her siblings, Damon Grimes and Jean Grimes Crouch; and her granddaughter Kelly Lupton.
She is survived by : her children, Teresa Lupton (Tim) and Charles "Rusty" Carter (Norma); her grandchildren, Tara Whitehurst (Timmy), Nicholas "Nick" Lupton, Hayley Lupton (Micheal), Brianna Evitt (Darrin), Adrian Allred and Ashlyn Brinkley (Jesse); and her great grandchildren, Madisen Whitehurst, Peyten Whitehurst, Ryder Brinkley and Emmy Brinkley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Leukemia Research or Wounded Warriors.
