She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Maxton Martin and Margaret Bradshaw Martin; her brother Floyd M. Martin, Jr. (Anita); and her great grandchild Ru Avonlea Fletcher. She is survived by: her husband Frederick P. Fletcher; her children, Frederick P. Fletcher, Jr. (Karen) and Margaret F. Davis (Mark); her grandchildren, Frederick P. Fletcher III (Mary), Charlotte F. Shearer (Evan) and Matthew N. F. Davis; and her great grandchildren, Ellis Fletcher, Occy Fletcher and Shiloh Shearer. She is also survived by sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2117 London Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23704).
