He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lloyd Artis and Mary Lou Artis; and his brother Ricky Artis. He is survived by : his wife Lelia Vernell Artis; his sons, Clarence Junior Artis, II, Terrance Dondra Artis (Maria Kalameli Artis) and Trenton Keyante Artis; and his grandchildren, Capri Joelle Artis, Aliliah Artis and Caleb Lord-Clarence Artis. He is also survived by the third child of ten children and the oldest brother.
