He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his grandchildren, Richard Chong (Ashley), Jasmine Herrion (Jay), Danielle Ervin (Nicholas), Deanna Goldsmith, Kaliyel Saulsberry, Kaelyn Saulsberry and Kaden Saulsberry; and his siblings-in-law, John Anderson (Wanda) and Sharon Anderson. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in David's memory to the American Cancer Society, supporting research and individuals affected by cancer.
