With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy Dupree (Portsmouth, Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Hunt Sr. and Martha L. Hunt. She is survived by: her son Mark A. Wiley of Portsmouth, VA; her siblings, George A. Hunt Jr. (Sheila) of Portsmouth, VA and Denise H. McClure (Michael) of Chesapeake, VA; her siblings' children, Kristi (Nikki), Yolanda McKnight of Timnath, CO, Jasmine D. McClure and Jonathan D. McClure (Courtney) of Portsmouth, VA; her great-nieces, Alexis A. Nixon of Powder Springs, GA and Alexandria McKnight of Timnath, CO; and her great-nephew Myles A. Nixon of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by other loving relatives, classmates and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fisher Funeral Home (1520 Effingham St, Portsmouth, VA 23704).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Dorothy's memory.
