It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Paul Bass Sr. (Portsmouth, Virginia), born in Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest A. Bass and Frances H. Bass; and his brothers, Waverly G. Bass, Ernest A. Bass, Jr. and Jerry Francis Bass.

He is survived by : his wife Mary J. Bass; his children, Lisa Bass Cisco (Dale) and Kenneth "Paul" Bass, Jr. (Beth Haywood); his stepsons, Gary J. Crawford (Liz) and Benjamin L. Crawford (Ediane); his granddaughters, Sarah Casey Eubanks (Harley) and Emily Rebecca Bass; and his great grandchildren, Jack Casey Eubanks and Lyla June Eubanks.
