She is survived by: her husband Jim Powell; and her children, Mike Gibson, Jr. of Lorton, VA, Jennifer Gibson of Charleston, SC and Patricia Gibson of Springfield, VA..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:25 AM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at 5100 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701.
