Otis Irvin Owens Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 86, Otis Irvin Owens Sr. of Portsmouth, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Eugene Owens Sr. and Selma Dail Owens; and his siblings, Noni Owens, Ralph Owens, Mary Whitehead and Jackie Manzione.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Sawyer, Sheila Owens and Otis I. Owens Jr.; and his close friend Mellie (Australian Shepherd). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
