He is survived by : his close friend Wanda Mullins; his stepmother Donna Lynn Vandyke Ray; his son Charles Compton (Trula) of Pilgrims Knob, VA.; and his cousins, Arlene Skeens (Jason Stacy), Bonnie Viers (Freddie), Pamela Daniels (Rogie), Charly Stevens (Cody), D. J. Skeens, Brandie Skeens, C. W. Viers, Jessica Viers Yates (Percy), Ashley Viers, Bolden Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Colton Stevens, Clayton Stevens, Cooper Stacy and Ryan Stacy.
