We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 92, Freda Joyce Simmons of Pounding Mill, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Freda Joyce Simmons to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Ira and Ethel Sawyers Joyce; her husband George William Simmons; her brother Jack Joyce; and her nephew Robert Andy Simmons.

She is survived by : her children, David Simmons (Ramona) of Pounding Mill, VA and Rebecca Simmons of Fincastle, VA; her granddaughters, Michelle Evans, Beth Simmons and Amy Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia and Scarlett. She is also survived by special friends.
