He was predeceased by: his grandparent Raymond Staton. He is survived by: his father Steve Richards of Henrico; his significant other Bonnie Brousseau of Chesterfield; his grandparents, Lew Richards, Marilyn Richards of Powhatan and Barbara Richards of Amelia; his uncles, Mike Richards (Sarah) of Houston, Gregory Douglas (Rindy) of Ashland and Jeffrey Douglas of Chesterfield; his mother Theresa Matheny; his brother Brandon Matheny; his uncles, Russell Staton of Powhatan and Richard Staton of Amelia; and his aunt Patricia Collins of Powhatan. He is also survived by son, grandson, nephew, brother, cousin and friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond Animal League or the Richmond SPCA.
