He is survived by: his wife Virginia Whitaker Sayers of Pulaski; his children, David Whittaker and Eula Rittle; his stepchildren, Tammy Whittaker, James Whittaker and John Whittaker; his siblings, Walter Glen Sayers, Cora Louise Linkous and Wanda Sue Lawson; his close friend Kevin P. Riffe; and also, Robin Taylor, Jody Lawson, Russell Lawson, Pete Stuart, Michelle Wright, Jessie Payne and Airion Lawson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
