She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Samuel Walker Smith and Mary Pauline Rakes Smith; her son Richard Wayne Smith; and her brother Charles "Buddy" Smith. She is survived by : her daughter Ronda Dalton (Leon); her grandchildren, Dustin Allen Dalton (Natasha) and Jenny Lynnette Harriman (Alex); her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Gavin, Elias, Laken and Tanner; and her siblings, James "Jimmy" Smith (Glenna), Joyce Lawson, Linda Coltrane and Christiansburg of Janett Munley.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Chapel (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bower Funeral Home (1631 Bob White Blvd, Pulaski, VA 24301).
