It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel R. Linkous in Pulaski, Virginia, born in Blacksburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Linkous and Thelma C. Linkous. He is survived by: his wife Gaye C. Linkous; his grandson Samuel Cody Linkous; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Croy, Janet Crittenden, Donna Jean Miller and Joan Alt. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society, or Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
