He is survived by: his children, Randy Thompson (Christy) of Burke's Garden, VA, Dorothea Dunford of Bluefield, VA and Nanette Thompson of Concord, NC; his brother Lenden Thompson (Doris) of Burke's Garden, VA; his grandchildren, Alex Dunford (Emily), Mary Beth Dunford of Bluefield, VA, Carley of Burke's Garden, VA and Addie Thompson of Burke's Garden, VA; and his great grandchild Nathaniel Dunford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
