It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Sue Noel Proffitt of Raven, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Danny L. Noel, Sr. and Katherine M. Fox Noel; her husband Larry A. Proffitt, Sr.; and her son Kenneth W. Hess, Jr.. She is survived by : her son Jeremy W. Hess (Natosha) of Raven, VA; her stepchildren, Larry A. Proffitt, Jr. (Kimberly) and Crystal A. Hansen (Dave) of Luray, VA.; her siblings, Lora Jane Noel (Terry Hill) of Swords Creek, VA. and Danny L. Noel, Jr. (Kayla Leslie); her grandchildren, Donald McClanahan, Austin Proffitt, Lindsey Vile, Nathalie Huffman, Autumn Hess, Logann Hess, Haylie Hess, Landon Hess, Emily Hansen, David Hansen and Andrew Hansen; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee McClanahan and Josephine Vile.
