He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Robert Trautman and Mary Holzer Trautman; his former wife Betsy Walker; his son Brett Overton Trautman (Virginia Elizabeth Trautman); his significant other Elizabeth Lawrence of Warrenton; his sister Linda Sullivan of Appleton, Wisconsin; his daughter Lily Elizabeth Trautman of Warrenton; and his grandchildren, Brett Cooper DeBergh, Sophia Elizabeth DeBergh of Ladera and Rain Elizabeth Trautman of Warrenton.

Memorial donations in Mr. Trautman's name can be made to Boulder Crest Retreat for veterans and first responders at PO Box 117, Bluemont, VA 20135.
