With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Winters Davis Haynie of Reedville, Virginia, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Wendell G. Haynie; her sister Betsy Layman; and her parents, Anne O. Davis and Buck Davis. She is survived by : her daughters, Gayle Sterrett (John), Becky Haynie and Carol Cummings (Mike); her grandchildren, Nick Sterrett (Becca), Jessie Sterrett (Meredith), Taylor Cummings Danseglio (Greg) and Kelsey Cummings Wilmer (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Elise, Alec Sterrett and Sawyer Danseglio. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to the Reedville Fishermen's Museum, the Smith Point Sea Rescue, the Northumberland Rescue Squad, or the Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department.
