He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Abbott and Lorraine Abbott; and his brothers, Ben Abbott and Tommy Abbott (Gay). He is survived by : his wife Cindy Abbott; his sons, Jason Abbott and Ryan Abbott; his brother Keith Abbott (Teresa); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Abbott, Sharon Franklin (Danny) and Janet Santley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
