She was predeceased by : her husband John S. Christie Jr.; her sons, John Stuart Figg and Thomas Allen Figg; and her granddaughter Kristen Nicole Figg. She is survived by : her children, Robert L. Figg III (Terry), William Cary Figg and Martha Cole Figg Williams (Dennis); and her stepchildren, John S. Christie III (Jocelyn) and Sherryl Christie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Welfare League or American Heart Association in her memory.
