Carter (Joyce) of Warrenton, VA, Thomas Lee Carter (Paulette) of Bristow, VA and Tony Ray Carter of Reston, VA; her sisters, Mildred Womack (Wilfred), Helen Davis of Gainesville, VA and Ethel Utterback (Thomas); and her children, Carolyn, Hattie, Flora Carter, Joe, Grafton and William Carter, Jr.. She was also cherished by 45 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren; and three great-great-great grandchildren.
