He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward F McGrath, Sr. and Mary A. McGrath (McGillivray); his sister June Karmon of Wakefield; and his children, Dr. Kevin McGrath, Kathi Windsor of Anchorage, AK, Tim McGrath of Fort Myers, FL and Jim McGrath of Centreville, VA. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
