He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Aloysious Watson and Elaine Resha Bagg. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kurtz Watson; his sons, Steven Watson (Jacquelyn) and Christopher Watson; his stepchildren, Christin Harvey, Shelby Hunsaker and Jared Brumfield; his sister Nancy Hoffmaster (David); his aunt Sylvia Resha; his godmother Clara Smith; and his grandchildren, Emily Watson, William Watson, Alexis Harvey, Madison Harvey and Abigail Harvey.
