He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Joe, Elizabeth Rife, Ondas and Dorothy Rife. He is survived by : his siblings, Melissa Keen (Dwayne) of Cedar Bluff, VA. and Justin Rife of Richlands, VA; his nephew Austin Keen; his niece Madison Keen; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Sparks (Josh) of Richlands, VA and Brooke Cordle (Alex) of Richlands, VA; and his stepgrandchildren, Julius Cruey, Laney Cordle and Wyatt Cordle. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Temple.
