He is survived by : his wife Betty Shaffer Dorsey of Chesapeake; his children, Kim Harvey (Scott) of Winifrede, Angie Anderson of Sissonville and Michael Dorsey Jr. (Charlotte) of Barboursville; his siblings, James Dorsey Jr. (Joy) of Richmond, VA, Roger Dorsey (Pam) of Alum Creek, Arnold Dorsey (Cheri) of Chesapeake, Bobby Dorsey (Ali) of Alum Creek, Randy Dorsey of Chesapeake and Jo Rogers (Bruce) of Winifrede; his sister-in-law Joyce Dorsey of Alum Creek; and his grandchildren, Curtis (Taylor), Chelsey Harvey, Corey, Caleb, Chase Dorsey, Christian, Chloe and Cassidy Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
