It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gaynelle Brizendine of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Ford Lewis and William C Lewis Sr.; her husband Carroll E Brizendine Sr.; her brother William C Lewis Jr.; her children, Diane Brizendine, Carol (Vince Hankley), Bobbi Chisholm, Joan Wash and Carroll E. "Bubba" Brizendine, Jr. (Nancy Brizendine); and her grandchildren, Staci, Traci, Hunter, Christine, Holly, Heather, Brooke, Max, Alex, Jake, Gannon and Patrick. She was also cherished by twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
