She was predeceased by : her parents, Freeman Scruggs and Ida M. Scruggs (Redd); her spouse Waverly L. Epps, Sr.; and her children, Stacey C. Epps and Theresa A. Lee.
She is survived by : her children, Waverly L. Epps, Jr. of Mt. Vernon, NY and Sandra R. Matlock of Richmond, VA; her sister Annie Mayo of Richmond, VA; and her brother-in-law Kermit Clements of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
