She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnnie B. Thompson and Rosa Marie Thompson; her husband James Sinkler; and her siblings, Herman, Johnnie, Steven Thompson, Barbara and Marilyn Thompson.
She is survived by : her children, Kareem Thompson of Paterson, NJ, Malika Marie Sinkler and Walima Aida Sinkler of Richmond, VA; her granddaughters, Yamira Hodgson-Sinkler and Makayla J. Sinkler-Dunn; her siblings, Carolyn V. Thompson-Anderson of Atlanta, GA and Calvin Thompson of Elizabeth, NJ; her siblings-in-law, Gregory Anderson of Atlanta, GA, Guy Weston of Washington, DC and Patricia Thompson of Paterson, NJ; and her close friend James Thornton of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
