He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Garrett and Raymond Garrett Sr.; and his brother Waymond Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Misha Dunbar Howell (Austin), Dominique Garrett, Raymond Garrett and Deon Garrett (Tiyea); his wife Melissa Tatum-Garrett; his niece Madison Cunningham; and his friends, Charles Scott, Estelle Scott and Barbara Winborn. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, five sisters, five brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220).
