She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Bernard Johnson and Irene Davis Johnson; her siblings, Catherine Taylor, Thadys Dewar, Marvin Johnson, Jr. and Louis Johnson; and her husband Wilton G. Mays.
She is survived by : her sister Miriam Rasberry; and her children, Kenneth (Jacque), Stewart (Karen), Janet (Ray), Kathy (David) and Anita (Robert). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
