He is survived by: his wife Faye E. McCollum; his children, Courtney Phillips (Quentin), Tervis McCollum (Winston) and Quade Aalim (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Emory, Evan Phillips, Jaxon and Quinn McCollum; his siblings, Vickie Griffin (Loyd), Glenda Agorsor (James), Gloria Saunders (Dwayne) and Gary McCollum (Cookie); his father-in-law Abraham Rhames; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Lowry (George), Sinai Rhames, Jerome Greene and Abraham Rhames Jr. (Carolle). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Quioccasin Baptist Church (9011 Quioccasin Rd, Richmond, VA 23229). Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
