It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Sullivan Jr. of Richmond, Virginia, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Ruth Sullivan (Agnes Emily Lamb); and his siblings, James Sullivan, Robert Sullivan (Bob) and Honor Sullivan.
He is survived by: his aunt Edie; his uncle Alfred; his wife Jo-Anne Sullivan (Rebert) of Richmond, VA; his children, June L. Fuentes of Woodbridge, VA, William J. Sullivan III of Manassas, VA, Cathy Sullivan Herring of Richmond, VA and Sharon M. James of Fairfax, VA; and his siblings, John Sullivan of Hamden, CT, Margaret Bentley (Polly) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Esther Girard of Griswald, CT. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
