He is survived by: his wife Gayle Geraldine Booth Carter; and his children, Charlie Carter (Dare), Mark Carter (Lisa) and Teresa Mullins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wentworth Church of God (773 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320).
