She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alvis and Cora Spearman Coleman; her son George Underwood, Jr.; and her siblings, Otis, Vance Coleman, Edith Bradford, Ethel Troxler, Margaret Slaydon, Inez Keaton and Edna Moseley.
She is survived by: her husband George Underwood, Sr.; her children, Tommy Underwood (Vicki) of Eden and Gloria Hyler (Smokey) of Eden; her grandchildren, Jennifer Shelton (Neil) of Stoneville, Brooke Willis (Eric) of Eden and Tommy Underwood II (B. J. Davis); her son Blake Davis of Eden; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor Shelton of Stoneville, Larissa Underwood and Jaylan Willis of Eden; her sister Gertrude Cobb of Eden; and also Mildred Overby.
