He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Katherine Land Reeves; and his siblings, Margaret Tomkins and Harry Desmond Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Polly Mae Reeves of Eden; and his stepson Mike Burroughs of Mt. Airy.
