She was predeceased by: her mother Erna; her husband John B. Buckner, Jr.; and her siblings, Thomas, Pearl, Louise, Erna and Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Buckner (Terrie) of Rocky Mount, NC, Kevin Buckner (Susan) of Belews Creek, NC, Tamara Schaefer (Craig) of Gresham, OR, Kathy Durham (Jeff) of Summerfield, NC and Beverly Conner (Joey) of Stoneville, NC; and her grandchildren, Baeden Buckner (Katie) of Greensboro, NC, Ashley Hilton (Brian) of Eden, NC, Breck Hayes (Vaun) of Raleigh, NC, Blair Vigeland (Ben) of Bend, OR, Lindsey Cianni (Phillip) of Camas, WA, Bryce Durham of Reidsville, NC and Evan Durham of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
