He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Lee Lawless and Ida "Bell" Lackey Lawless; his grandson Chad Lawless; his siblings, Irvin Lawless, Clara Lawson, Vada Compton, Ola Stone, Orea Scott and Verna Lawson; and his close friend Sarah Satterfield.
He is survived by: his children, Junior Lee Lawless (Vikki) of Ridgeway, Shiann Baker of Eden, Lonnie Lawless (Melissa) of Ridgeway and Sherwin Todd Lawless of Ridgeway. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
