She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Roosevelt Young and Grace Catherine Moss Young; her husband Samuel R. McCormick, Sr.; and her siblings, Hasseltine Young, Bobby Ray Young, Phoebe Young Ragsdale and Carl David Young.
She is survived by : her sons, Samuel Robert McCormick, Jr. (Phyllis) and Danny Clare McCormick (Debbie); her sisters, Maude Young Coggin and Rebecca Young Butts (Larry); her grandson Jeremy McCormick (Raven); her great grandchildren, Clayton and Savanna Grace; her grandchild Reagan McCormick Boomer (Heath); her great grandchildren, Abigail and Samantha; her grandchild Whitney McCormick Holley (Jamey); her great grandchild Madisyn Grace; her granddaughter Haley McCormick; her daughter Katie Mitchell (David); and her brother Dr. Steven Jannach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
