He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilma Byrd Bivens and Henry Bivens; his former life partner Hilda McGuire Bivens; his wife Jeanette Williams Bivens; and his daughter Rose Bivens Paxton.
He is survived by : his children, Michael D. Bivens (Sharon) of Statesville, Anthony D. Bivens (Lisa) of Sutherlin, Virginia, Teresa B. Tuck (Ricky) of Ringgold, Wendy B. Moran (Dennis) of Ringgold and Sheila B. Davis (Terrell) of Greenville; his son-in-law Clay Paxton of Danville, Virginia; his sister Millie B. Hale (Arnold) of High Point; and his friend Forrest K. Adams of Danville, Virginia.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions mandated by the guidelines set forth by the state must be followed by service attendants and staff.
