She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austin and Esther Cook Austin; her husband Ballard Oakley "Junior" Spradlin; and her siblings, Gloria DeBoard, Mary Bell Hall, Minnie Ball, Jean Kessler and William Austin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Doss (Gary), JoAnn Roberts (Wesley) and Debbie Brammer (Joel); and her brother Harry Austin. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
