He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Alton Beverley, Sr. and Matrice Anderson; and his brother Gregory Smith. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Christian; his children, Herbert Harvey of Lynchburg, VA, Benita Beverley of Richmond, VA, Bianca Crews (Carlos) of Lynchburg, VA and Brianna Beverley of Lynchburg, VA; his sisters, Norma Jean Moody (Stanley) of Hyattsville, MD and Linda Payne (Larry) of Bowie, MD; and his uncle Marvin Anderson. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Dearington Baptist Church (400 Smyth St, Lynchburg, VA 24501). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
