It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Amsler (Roanoke, Virginia), born in Knox, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 29, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Paul Sheesley; and her siblings, Sara Beals, Helen Harnish, Harold Sheesley, Calvin Sheesley (Pete), Melvin Sheesley and Harry Sheesley (Hen).
She is survived by: her parent Nellie Wingard Sheesley; her spouse Robert L. Amsler; her daughters, Beverly Amsler of Roanoke, VA and Betty Jo Amsler of Winchester, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Harnish, Tom Amsler and Alma Jean Sheesley of Emlenton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Knox Public Library, 305 N. Main St, Knox or the Knox United Methodist Church, 9729 rt 338, Knox.
